Delete your account
You only have a Foreword account if you signed in with Apple or Google in the Foreword app to add a community note. The website has no accounts, and searching or voting never creates one.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Foreword on your iPhone or Android phone.
- Go to About, then the Account section.
- Tap Delete account and confirm. If your sign-in has expired, sign in again first.
It takes effect immediately.
By email
If you no longer have the app, email hello@onemoretab.software with the subject “Delete my Foreword account”. Tell us whether you signed in with Apple or Google and roughly when. We never store your email address or name, so we may need you to reinstall the app and sign in once to confirm which account is yours. We reply within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Deleted:your account record — the opaque Apple or Google ID that links your sign-in to Foreword. Your session stops working straight away.
- Kept, with no link to you:community notes you added stay public as “the Foreword community”, so the shared database stays intact. They were never shown under your name.
- Not affected: votes are tied to a random device ID, not your account. Your trigger list lives only on your device; delete the app or clear its data to remove it.
